New HeartCode BLS & ACLS Coming Soon!

2010 AHA Guidelines Updates and Unified Format

We are excited to announce that the NEW HeartCode BLS & ACLS Courses are coming soon!  Final testing of the new programming is underway, and we are currently estimating a release date for the new courses in the month of July. We will be sharing more specific details on this in the coming weeks.

The new versions of the HeartCode courses have incorporated many changes that will make it even easier for your students to learn all about the new guidelines, complete courses via online access, and keep their AHA certifications up to date. Some of the changes include:

  • The 2010 AHA Guideline updates:  Of course, HeartCode BLS and ACLS have been updated to include all of the new Guideline changes.
  • Upgrades to the HeartCode platform:  Though some of this is the behind the scenes “technical stuff.”. The primary reason for this change is to present all the HeartCode courses with the same “look and feel.”  A student who is familiar with the BLS HeartCode format will now be able to move to the ACLS and PALS formats with a minimal learning curve, since all the courses will now function in basically the same way.
  • Enhancements to the courses based on feedback from our customers:  These are some of the most exciting changes that have taken place in the HeartCode courses. Over the years, we have listened to your feedback, concerns, and all-around challenges related to the HeartCode courses. We heard you and worked closely with the AHA and Laerdal Medical to make changes that will help you, as an administrator, to deliver these courses to your students more easily. We hope your students find the courses more user friendly, easier to navigate, and overall more convenient and conducive to learning.

We are looking forward to delivering these new courses to you and your students as soon as possible. We hope you find the changes to be positive and in alignment with your educational goals. We also are very interested in your continued feedback related to these changes. Let us know what you think.
